life.
A native New Yorker, Taisha is a wife
and the mother of two adult children and the grandmother of an adorable
granddaughter. And a pet parent of three dogs and three cats.
What drives you to write romance
stories?
The thing that drives me to write
romance is my love of a happily ever after or happy for now story.
Do you have hidden messages woven into
your stories?
Yes, and that’s no matter who you are,
what you look like or where you came from there’s someone out there for all of
us.
What’s the best thing about your writing
and publishing routine?
I call all the shots.
What steps did you take to publish
your first book?
After starting a Limited Liability Company
or LLC. I registered with Amazon and other publishing sites and went from
there.
How did you come up with the idea for your
recent book/Who’s your favourite character and why?
I actually came up with the idea from
working in restaurants and with caterers. My favourite character is Bailey
Anders, the heroine’s bestie because she’s such a free spirit.
What’s the hardest thing about the
publishing process?
I think dealing with the various venues
in which your book is published. I’ve hit more roadblocks than I can say publish
a book. It’s always one thing or another.
Why should a new reader buy your book(s)?
A new reader should buy my books
because my style is eclectic, and I tell a compelling story.
Working on a new book/project?
The book I’m currently working on is a
multicultural story involving a Blasian (Asian/Black) woman and White man,
entitled: It Had to Be You.
Brag about any awards or badges.
Sadly, I have none.

I’d say, don’t ever let anyone tell you what you cannot do.
