Ryder's hand stiffened on top of Kiarra's
for a moment, before he relaxed and caressed the back of her hand with the pad
of his fingers again.
Coals burned up her arms. Heat scalded
her cleavage and left her nipples raw with need. Night after night, she had longed
for his touch and his bad boy kisses. Yet, standing close to him now, she trembled.
“Kiarra Wright, you keep it real
like no other woman I’ve ever met. You’re right. My heart was empty. Not
anymore. I met you and with every visit you made to my condo you filled my heart
with hope, with new possibilities, laughter, and many other strange but great
emotions.”
Her pulse ticked loud and fast.
Was she dreaming? Her heart beat very strong and out of her chest. She darted
