Licking her bottom lip, Ola stepped forward. As
she moved, her gown fell apart at the thigh-high centre slit of her gown and
closed up again as if she was out to tease and taunt. From a few feet away, she
saw Liam’s eyes widen and narrow and his teeth gleamed when he grinned.
Her chest
popped out of her body as she shivered with awareness. How was she going to get
through tonight?
As she
approached, Liam held out one hand to her.
“If seduction is top on your mind tonight, I’m
fair game, Ola. You look fabulous in your hot gold dress!”
Smiling, she took his hand. While his compliments
steadied her nerves a little, his fingers warmed her insides a lot.
“My pulse kicked up a storm when I saw you. You
rock a tuxedo, Liam.”
Laughing, he pulled her straight into a warm
embrace and kissed her cheeks.
“And you smell like I should keep you in my arms
all night,” he murmured along her temple.
Her heart whistled as mild winds started along her
cleavage.
“And you smell like I should kiss you, Liam.”
She curved her neck and he smooched her mouth with
his lips Oh, she opened for him because it was what she wanted, no needed and
hoped for the moment she saw him. He bit her top lip and then her bottom lip before
he stopped.
“Skip dinner?” he asked in a soft whisper.
