Personally, I write all the time - on serviette paper, notebooks, tablet, phone, laptop etc. Also, I love romance novels with a passion. And I read tons of romance novels as a teenager.
As I grew up, I wanted to read romance stories with more witty dialogue, rich African flavour - culture, setting, feisty heroine, food - Interracial characters and unexpected twists.
I had personal experiences I wanted to share without revealing them as facts. One day, in 2008, I said to a colleague, I would like to get published. She asked, 'what is stopping you?' She stuck a reporter's notebook and a pen in my hand and said, 'Write anything that comes to your head'. And I did.
In 2010, I started writing Flirty & Feisty Romance Novels. God fills my heart and head with inspiration. It is what I love and enjoy doing.
In Mid-July 2015, I released my 10th Flirty & Feisty Romance Novel, Forbidden Dance.
As an author, you learn to write stories in a cleaner and sharper way. The more you write, the better you get. Writing in an action voice (instead of passive voice) is the best skill I have picked up in recent time.
Writers often re-evaluate their previous publications. I'm no different. A couple of weeks ago, I picked up Flirty & Feisty Romance 6th Novel; HUSBAND to RENT for re-evaluation & re-release.

Successful banker, Ota needs to get married as soon as possible. A lot is at stake if she fails to tie the knot. When Gambian hotelier, Fara sets eyes on Ota in her homeland, he is intrigued by her offer to help him find his relative. She stumbles across an escape route out of her troubles and makes an absurd request Fara finds hard to ignore. But their mutual infatuation kick start a chain of events.
