Her mother, a high profile society lady was extremely disappointed and mortified. She bundled Olivia away from society's prying eyes and callously gave away the child to Olivia's aunt. 

After she gave birth, Olivia was sent abroad to continue her degree program. Her mother's aim was to wipe away her little indiscretion from society's memory.

When Olivia returned to New Ferry town as a brilliant dentist, she started to undo her domineering mother's unjust actions. Her emotional battle began when she advertised for a gardener to spruce up the landscape of her new home.

When she employed Oliver Pedro, a Nigerian gardener with huge confidence, swagger and skill to tend her garden, she didn't bargain on how easily he'll win over her son and attempt to take over her life. She resists him every step of the way.
