Hello Everyone,
Monthly periods in women can lead to anemia with many constantly complaining of tiredness, weakness and fatigue. It is true because I have experienced it.
Starting from a young age, girls wake up one morning and find themselves bleeding from their private parts.
Monthly periods from then on become a part of who we are, as women. It is a blessing from God because with it comes the possibility of having children.
But monthly periods also come with many discomforts and health problems.
Men, do you know that women experience period pain, cramps, headache, nausea, monthly depending on their hormone levels?
Guys, boys, instead of being jerks to girls in your classes, or to the women at work, or your wives at home, show them care, respect and understanding when you observe they feel 'off'.
Of course, I'm also reaching out to millions of women who may have suffered health problems like me or who might suffer in the future. Women, show understanding to fellow women.
Why is it no doctor tells women especially after having kids that we need to pop iron tablets (as supplements) to renew the blood we 'lose' during our monthly cycle?
Dads & Moms, once your daughters start their periods, get their blood levels checked from time to time at the hospital to make sure they are not anemic!
Husbands, many women bleed from 4 - 7 days every month because of their periods. Make it your business to find out whether, or not your wives are taking iron supplements daily to help renew their blood.
Because blood is life.
After having kids, women decide to use different birth control methods to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Some women like me, favour the use of IUD (Intrauterine device) or "copper coil".

Now, this IUD can lead to heavier, more embarrassing monthly bleeding in the years ahead. As women, we learn not to complain. But that is terrible because if the excessive bleeding is left unchecked, it can lead to anemia and other diseases.
Note: Constant monthly bleeding can lead to anemia if you do nothing about it.

What happened to me can happen to any woman and has happened to many women around the world but we do not speak about it.
Anemia is a condition in which you lack enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to your body's tissues.

Having anemia makes you feel very tired and weak.
TAKE NOTE:
1. Moms & Dads watch out for your daughters.
2. Husbands, fiancé, boyfriends keep your eyes on your wife, fiancée or girlfriend and observe how often they complain of being tired, weak and fatigued.
3. Take their complaints seriously and don't dismiss it as laziness.
ASK VITAL QUESTIONS:
1. Dads, fiancé, boyfriends, ask your wives, girlfriends, daughters, fiancées about their monthly periods.
2. Ask how many days their periods last and how heavy?
3. Ask if they take iron tablets supplements.
4. Ask if they have checked their blood for anemia?
If your daughter, wife, fiancé or girlfriend have not checked, encourage them to take action.
I hope this post helps someone or a family out there.
