My #Weekend

Throughout this weekend, and for many days to come, I will be shoving my fifth contemporary romance novel - SPARKLING DAWN through a major writing 'surgery'.

Meet Chloe, a fiery red head!

The aim is to spruce up the cover, the blurb and to clean out Chloe and Warren's story. I'm pleased to tell you that a brilliant author and publisher, Dorothy May Mercer of Mercer Publications and Ministries Inc is working on editing the story. It is a great learning curve for me.

I've had very helpful critic and author, Bryden Lloyd tear apart the old blurb and a wonderful friend and author, Simone Beaudelaire re-arrange the blurb to an exciting new level.

Authors, if you need support and assistance with writing blurbs in any genre, hop over to The Write Stuff.

I'm not shy to admit I don't know it all and I'm not afraid to ask for help to sharpen my stories in order to please my loyal readers.

Here's the new blurb for SPARKLING DAWN.

Years ago, Chloe developed a secret crush on Warren, but a painful event led her to believe she had been set up. To preserve family ties, she kept the humiliating incident and her subsequent actions secret.

Now, a high-powered freelance fashion journalist, Chloe intends to live her jet-set life to the fullest, until her former crush unexpectedly knocks on the door.
Warren is still drawn to Chloe and has no idea why she holds back from him. Will they reconcile, or will Chloe's secret tear Warren's family reputation apart?

Meet Warren

Once the new book cover is out, the unveiling will take place here.

    1. Thank you, Danielle. Glad you like the new blurb. I have received comments that Chloe is erratic. Her behaviour has been affected by the past event and the decisions she made. I love her craziness. Happy you popped in. It is always nice to have you.
