Blood
drummed in Declan’s ears and rushed down his neck while Kahina whimpered as she
grasped his upper arms.
Declan
whisked his fingers from her neck down to her waist and back up again in a constant
swirl. Flames seared their fastened lips and spread to his gut. He groaned inside
her mouth as his heart pounded. Dazed from the desire that swept across his chest, he lifted his head.
“Are
you going to keep doing this every time you want me to be quiet?” Kahina asked through
quivering lips that somehow appeared thicker now.
“Do
what?” He petted her bottom lip with his thumb.
“Kiss
me.”
“Maybe
if your lips didn’t invite me every time, I wouldn’t kiss you. Besides, I’ve
got this thing about having you do what I say.”
She
wiped his lips with her left thumb. “My lipstick is shamelessly painted all
over your mouth. Forget about getting me to submit. It’s not happening.”
“I’ll
wipe it off when the night is over. Don’t be too sure about that last remark of
yours. You’ll give in to me. I’ve got a good feeling about us.”
“Fantasy and reality are two different worlds. The
two don’t mix.”

She giggled. “I’m warning you, Mr. Bronx. Get on
your jet, go back to New York to date the girls on the east coast.”
“No can do, Ms Eboni. I like complicated. In fact,
it’s my specialty. It’s one of the reasons I’m drawn to you. There’s something
true and sweet about you. Even though you hide it behind a tough exterior, I
can see through.”
Laughing a little, she started to walk...
He winked, running his eyes across her face.
Pouting her lips, she skewed her head and traced
her lips along his tattoos. She pasted soft kisses along his inked skin.
Fierce heat bolted through his arm. He groaned
with passion as his breathing quickened along with pulse. As his skin flushed, he
pulled her forward.
With his heart thundering around his chest, he
dipped his head and caressed the side of her face with his lips.
