#Romance #Quotes #Monday 42

Welcome to a new week on Romance Quotes Monday! I hope you had a fabulous Christmas time with your family. I had a whale time. Lol!

I'm very excited to share these four romance quotes with you.

My husband and I attended the wedding reception of a friend recently and my husband was asked (without warning) to give words of wisdom to the newlyweds. My husband stressed the point (in the last quote) to the groom - to make sure the children take second position in their marriage.

Imagine my shock when I stumbled across the same words in the fourth quote by Hugh Hefner.

Enjoy.

RomQuote #1
Vulnerability is the essence of romance. It's the art of being uncalculated, the willingness to look foolish, the courage to say, 'This is me, and I'm interested in you enough to show you my flaws with the hope that you may embrace me for all that I am but, more important, all that I am not.'
Ashton Kutcher (American Author)

RomQuote #2
Husbands and wives, first be faithful to each other. Second, keep the romance going all of your life by courting each other every day.
Zig Ziglar (American Author)

RomQuote #3
People will always need love, romance, a tender touch, and really personal and deeply felt music.
Susannah McCorkle (American Musician)

RomQuote #4
I have been married twice, and those were not the happiest times of my life. Part of the problem, quite frankly, is that when you get married, the romance disappears and the children arrive and the love is transferred. It shouldn't be that way, but too often it is transferred to the children.
